By creating an account or using People Helping Cats ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is provided by Verbena Projects LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes related to cat rescue, colony management, and animal welfare. You agree not to:
Annual plans are billed once per year and renew automatically. Download purchases are one-time and non-refundable. You may cancel an annual plan at any time; your site will remain active until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer partial-year refunds.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
For plans that include domain registration, we register domains on your behalf through our registrar. Domains are subject to availability and standard pricing only — we do not register premium-priced domains. Domains registered through the Service must remain with our registrar for the duration of your subscription. If you cancel, we will transfer the domain to you upon request.
Free and discounted hosting for nonprofits is available to verified US 501(c)(3) organizations only. Misrepresentation of nonprofit status will result in immediate account termination and back-billing at standard rates. International organizations may apply for manual review.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We perform maintenance with advance notice where possible. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime or data loss, though we take reasonable precautions including daily backups.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to your site (photos, text, cat profiles, etc.). You grant us a limited license to store and serve this content as part of the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time via your billing portal or by contacting us. Upon termination, we will provide a reasonable opportunity to export your data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verbena Projects LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
